Global Achievers Foundation conducted 8th Annual Competitions 2013 for children in June 2013 at Singaram Pillai School, Villivakkam. Meghna participated in drawing contests on 5 different themes in a row for about 5 hours. She has won first place in 3 of the themes, third prize in one and consolation prize in one theme.
Themes:
Common Theme – Meghna did a picture of a fairy butterfly on a flower and won first prize.
Animals/Birds – She drew a picture of two birds and won consolation award.
Nature : Did a sea world picture and won first prize
Festivals: Drew a Holi Festival scene and won third prize
Famous Personality: Did a picture of Rabindranath Tagore and won first prize.
Meghna is awarded with Ravi Varma Award for her excellence in drawing and painting by the foundation.
