On 3rd April 2014, I went to Queensland with my family. It was in the morning that my father decided to go to Queensland. I love Queensland. It is an amazing theme park with lots of rides. Then we packed everything and my dad drove our car to Queensland. About an hour later, we reached our destination.
We bought our tickets and got the entry strips. Then a lady tied the strips on our hands and she let us go inside. I was so excited as we entered the park. The rides which we went were:

I loved all the rides which I went but some rides which I did not go also were exciting to see. I did not try them because I was either scared or felt that it was dangerous go on that ride. Even I longed to go on some rides but my parents did not allow me to do so as they were scared.

We ate our lunch at a hotel in the park. I was so excited about the swimming pool but unfortunately it was closed because of maintenance. It was so green and dirty that for the first time I felt that I should not go to the swimming pool. I love swimming pools very much. In fact, I love to play with water very much. In my school swimming class, even if it is an assessment, I love it.
I loved the American wave pool very, very much that I don’t have words to describe it. The feel of the water pushing me back again and again, is still in my mind.
There was a construction of something big near the wave pool. I think they are building a Kutralam waterfall like the one in Kishkinta water theme park.
After playing in the water together, I and my mom came out of the water and I and my dad went together again. It was not actually together, because there was a separation in the pool, one side for ladies and one for gents. And they won’t allow girls to go with their fathers. Even in the swimming pool they won’t allow.
After sometime, my dad came out of the water and changed his dress. Then my mom and dad started to talk, while I played happily in the pool with the other girls. Then my mom realized that time was running out. The wave pool would close at 4:00 pm and it was already 3:45pm! And it was already crowded too! My mother dragged me out of the water as I loved the wave pool very much. Then I and my mom changed our dresses and we all went on the other rides and bought some snacks and ate in the hotel.
Then we finished some more rides and we went to the exit. I felt so sad to leave the theme park.
I actually came there for the swimming pool. But I couldn’t go there. We returned to our home. It was a happy day for me. Hope you like my day!
