Very Happy to announce that I won Consolation Award in the 24th UNEP International Painting Competition 2015 conducted by United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). This is the 24th edition of the competition, which is one of the most popular art contest for children all over the world.
Theme for 2015 competition was Sustainable Energy (We have the Power) and children could submit the paintings online. I submitted 2 paintings and one of them won me the consolation award in the Asia Pacific region. UNEP generally receives tens of thousands of paintings from children all over the world annually for this prestigious competition and I am also sending entries for the past 4 years and this is the first time, managed to be an award winner from UNEP. Very Happy About that.
