Artist Mullai Rajan Sir’s ZEN ARTS “LIVE” Drawing Competition 2017 was held as part of Zen Art Academy Students Exhibition (April 24 – 30, 2017). Exhibition and Painting Competition were conducted at Lalit Kala Akademi, Greams Road, Chennai.
I participated in the painting competition under 13-15 years age category and won 1st Prize. Topic of the contest was Paint anything of your imagination.
I painted a picture of a village woman walking with pots of water in her hand and head through a bush laden village road amidst small village homes. Painted this picture in Acrylic Medium. This is my original creation. And is happy with the outcome, especially the sky and the trees shadows. Thank You Kannan Sir for the wonderful teaching of the acrylic techniques.

Prize Distribution was held on April 30th, 2017 during the closing function of the exhibition.
