One of the happiest days of my life…First Prize at The Times of India NIE Colour Splash Painting Competition held at SBOA School and Junior College today (Aug 3, 2017)… Won a Tablet PC, an Induction Cook top as gifts along with a big, beautiful Trophy…??
Thank You Times of India for the wonderful gifts and the trophy. It was such a great experience winning such a big competition where about 150 schools participated. In the Junior category alone I felt like there were 250 Plus students. And I felt extremely happy when they announced my name as the winner of the Junior category (Std V to VIII).
The topic given for the Junior Category was ” Every Drop of Water Counts ” and it was a real challenge finishing the painting in 1 hour time duration on a half chart. Couldn’t take a photo of the painting.
Senior Category (Std IX to XII) was given the topic ” Life in the 22nd Century” and K.Rahul Selvan from SBOA School and Junior College won the First Prize in the Senior category and Roshni K.R from the same school won the second prize. Congrats to both of them and all other winners too.
