BEE Painting Competition on Energy Conservation 2017 Tamilnadu State Level Competition was held yesterday (November 14, 2017) at Vivekananda Auditorium, Anna University, Chennai. I was one of the 50 participants selected to participate in the competition for Category B (Std 7, 8 and 9). A very tough competition to win. About 3 lakh paintings received by Power grid Corporation from schools across Tamilnadu.
Very Happy to share with you all that I Won consolation prize of Rs. 5000/-. Honorable Minister for Electricity , Prohibition & Excise, Govt of Tamilnadu Thiru. P. Thangamani gave away the prizes in the presence of Dr. T.V. Geetha, Dean, Anna University and other senior officials of the Power Grid Corporation.
A very tough competition. All the paintings were very competitive and very good creativity and colourful too. Congrats to all the Winners of Category A and Category B. My friend and Art Master’s daughter K.M. Vinisha from SBOA School & Jr. College, Chennai won 3rd Prize in the Senior Category. Very Happy for her too. Congrats Vinisha!!.
