Importance of Life Skills Speech for School Students. This speech is prepared for my CBSE Class 10 Subject Enrichment Activity in English. So here it goes::
” Good Morning to One and All Present here.
Life skills play an important role in our lives. Yes, It is true that without life skills, there is no meaning in life. Get what marks you wish to, secure what job you wanted and earn how much ever money you want to have, but without proper life skills and proper etiquette, whatever you gain is a loss. Without life skills, you are like a book without words. Even if a student studies extremely well and secures the highest marks in his/her class, no teacher will wholeheartedly appreciate or feel happy for the student, if he/she doesn’t know how to talk politely. Being rude to someone for every single thing is the worst behaviour you can have. This is because you will hurt the other person’s feelings.
Hurting others to gain happiness is not an example of good skills. Be polite, talk in a soft voice and know how to talk properly to different people in different situations. You can not talk to your teacher or Principal, the way you talk with your friends. Give respect for those who deserve it and maintain it forever. Try to see goodness in everything and be a beacon of positivity, so that you have a good place in the society and people will look upon you with a feeling of pride and respect.
