Shailaputri (meaning Daughter of Mountain) is one of Navaduragas and Shailaputri is the Goddess worshipped on the First Day of Navaratri. Her weapons are a Trident and a lotus and she rides on a Bull (Vrishabha). Shailaputri is the manifestation of Goddess Durga (Adi Parasakthi).
