Varadarājam Upāsmahē by Harinie Jeevitha Akka, yesterday at Narada Gana Sabha for Natyarangam was the reason I cried with a smile 
. I might need some days to recover from the ‘Varadar Effect’. 
From the invocatory piece to the Thillana, from Irandaam Kaappu to Gajendra Moksham, everything was so intricate, perfect and with a smooth finish that it was all too good and divine to process.

This is a small sketch I did yesterday before watching the performance (during college breaks and travel-time) as a tiny gift for Akka on her special day, the debut of ‘Varadàrājam Upāsmahē’.
